Management is one of the most important business administration majors in business. The specialization brings out specialists in business administration who have the ability to develop integrated plans for the units and organizations they supervise and effectively control decision-making.

The management specialization focuses on preparing the manager according to scientific methods, in addition to the knowledge and skills related to administrative functions (planning, organizing, directing and control) as well as to the functions of the organization, especially in finance, human resources, operations, marketing, research and development, in addition to realizing the dimensions of the relationship between the organization and its external environment.

The Business Administration program aims to improve the services of education, scientific research and community service in order to achieve the goals of the University of the Future and the College of Administrative and Financial Sciences, by achieving the following objectives:-

1 – Providing a distinguished learning environment for the department’s students in accordance with the latest programs in force in international universities.

2- Providing students with administrative knowledge and skills, and providing them with the necessary modern scientific administrative concepts and trends through practical application to meet the needs of the labor market.

3 – To develop the skills of creativity, innovation and teamwork among students, so that they can take administrative decisions to address the problems facing business organizations.

Bachelor’s program 

Undergraduate Admission Requirements

  • The student must have a high school diploma or its equivalent.
  • The student must fulfill the conditions for admission to each college.
  • To sign a pledge to abide by all the rules and regulations of the university.
  • To submit the original certificates obtained with true copies.
  • The student must pay the registration fees and the prescribed tuition fees.
  • The student must fill out the admission and registration forms at the university.
  • Commitment to the acceptance rate determined annually by the Ministry of Higher Education.
  • Adherence to the conditions of the bridging system set by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.

The required documents :

  • The original high school application form with two true copies of it.
  • The original equivalency certificate issued by the concerned authority in the Ministry of Education for holders of secondary school qualifications from outside Yemen, along with a copy of it.
  • A copy of the personal or family card with the original for matching.
  • A copy of the passport for non-Yemenis with the original for matching.
  • 8 personal photos (6×4) with white background.
  • The original document of payment of the registration fee.
  • The registration form is filled out and signed by the student.
  • Undertaking to abide by the university’s rules and regulations.
  • Original transcripts certified by the previous university and the Ministry of Higher Education for transferred students.

The College of Business fully aims to qualify students enrolled in it with basic sciences in many disciplines such as management information systems, human resource management, accounting, marketing, finance, health services management, hospitals and law, with a focus on quality through modern and advanced curricula based on authentic scientific theories and practical applications related to the Saudi environment. Brief course description for use on the university website and publications
This course is an introductory course to clarify the role of professional managers in contemporary business organizations. Students will explore functions, concepts, and skills relevant to modern management applications. The course begins by giving a brief historical overview of the development of managerial thought, and then it will provide a comprehensive discussion of the basic principles and theories related to the four main functions of management, namely planning, organizing, directing, leading and controlling.
Course objectives
  1. Giving an introduction to management science. The course covers various and interrelated topics in management science.
  2. Inculcating modern administrative thought in the mindset of the student’s management of profit and non-profit organizations and presents the basic concepts of the different administrative schools, decision-making processes, organization, administrative development and management functions (planning, organizing, directing, leadership and control).
  3. A statement of the administrative activities of marketing, human resources, production and financial management.

  1. The concept of management and its fields
  2. Historical development of management thought.
  3. Decision-making and approaches to solutions to administrative problems.
  4. Initial principles of planning, decision-making and strategic planning.
  5. Basic concepts of administrative organization and design of administrative organizations.
  6. Introduction to organizational change and human resource management.
  7. Leadership and the relationship between individuals within organizations.
  8. Incentives and increased productivity.
Expected outcomes of the course (Course Outcomes):
A- KnowledgeBy the end of this course the student will be able to:

  1. Knowledge of the concept of management and its various fields
  2. Study the history of management and its stages of development
  3. Studying the different administrative schools in the field of management and the impact of each on management science
  4. Study the main functions in management (planning, organizing, leading, coordinating, controlling)
  5. Understand the basic principles of decision-making and methods of analysis
  6. Problems to find solutions, methods and assets of strategic planning.
  7. Understand the process of administrative organization and its origins and the ability to analyze it for development purposes.
  8. Knowledge of leadership requirements and skills and the ability to influence individuals, groups and human resource management.
  9. Understand the meaning of productivity and quality, and the ability to determine ways to measure and raise their level in scientific, studied ways.

  2. Emphasizing that human resource management is one of the disciplines with professional applications.

The human resource planning function is considered the first function of the human resource department, so this course contains the concepts of human resource management and gives the student an idea about doing human resource planning and the importance of planning in general in all administrative functions.
